Luiza

A couple weekends ago, Derek and I were lucky enough to spend a couple days with one of our new favorite couch surfers, Luiza Galvao. She is originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but has been studying English in Vancouver, British Columbia for a little over a year. She was passing through Salt Lake because she decided to bus across America before she returns to Brazil. Pretty crazy/awesome right. Did I mention she is actually busing and couch surfing the entire way by herself. A little scary, but what an amazing experience!

She walked around Temple Square and talked to the missionaries. She got the first lesson and ended up with lots of pamphlets. I thought that was so cute.

We plan to visit and stay with Luiza when we come out to Brazil in January. She has so many awesome places to take us to when we get there. She also has friends in Sao Paulo that we can stay with as well. So excited!
