I don't know if I have mentioned that Derek has applied to several PHD Schools recently. Big schools. Such as, Berkeley, Georgia Tech, Princeton, San Diego, and Cornell. Smarty pants! So he has been waiting around to find out if he got in to any of these places. Poor anxious boy....
Well a few weeks ago he got his first acceptance letter.... to ... Georgia Tech!! Not too excited about the location... but Georgia Tech is one of the top ten schools in America. Pretty awesome accomplishment. So we celebrated.

Cole and Ryan came over and we walked down to Trolley Square and sat by the fire. of course, they had to pic up some Victory Cigars first. Yuck!
