California Christmas

Just a little montage of the first day we spent in Cali with the folks. Derek got me a new lens for christmas and this was the first I got to play with it.
Don't worry, I tried my best to save you from most of the meaningless, impulsive shooting.

Dad's birthday. Exactly half his age.

This baby

New sweater from the pops. Anthropologie has my heart.

Pretty good for fifty... huh?

His face hurts my heart.... in the best way.

Rocky discovered the best seat in the house.... buried in Tundra's fur!

Second best seat....

Can't tell what they want.....

After a yummy christmas dinner we decided to take the doggies for a moonlight stroll around Idyllwild.

Dad got a call from grandma who proceeded to sing Happy Birthday to him.... 3 times. She's so funny.

Love my Babs. Don't worry the strap on her face is not a muzzle. It is just to help my mom walk her. Consequence of a few previous incidents involving my mom being spun around on the ground and dragged down our old cul-de-sac. Funny story.

Later we had a seperate little christmas with just my dad, who(like always) went a little overboard with the presents. He likes to shop. I had to get it from somewhere.
This year he had his darling friend, Donna, wrap all his presents. They were ridiculous! Like the most gorgeous presents you've ever seen. Professional style. He calls her his little Martha Stewart. Makes sense now.....
So I have a little mini montage of some of the cute gifts she did.

Every tag matched every bag. Every ribbon matched every bag/box. It was perfection. I had to force myself not to keep everything.

I sort of themed my dads stocking this year. I just found this store at the Gateway called "Blickenstaffs". It is full of vintage candy and toys. So fun!! Plus my dad loves that kind of nostalgic stuff.

First Snovember!

Last weekend hit us with a little surprise snow storm. I love the first big snow of the season. Everything is just so much more exciting. You don't despise the cold, and snow yet. Everything just looks beautiful and white.

Tundra loves life when snow is involved...

On the first day of our snowing weekend, Derek and Ryan to a hike up into the canyons. I was super jealous at work.

That night we met up with some friends downtown and we walked everywhere. It was really fun to just be out in the snow.

Derek and Cole doing dangerous stuff in dangerous allies with dangerous peeps like Kodiak

The next morning, we woke up to even more snow. It had been snowing all night. It was the most snow I had seen on our door step downtown.

After spending a super lazy, Sunday morning indoors, we decided to take Tundra to this off leash dog park that we had been meaning to check out. It was so gorgeously covered in snow. There were so many people there with their awesome dogs.

This hilarious little dude had snow booties on, and he did not like them. He looked so funny when he walked. Everytime he stopped he would put his leg up like this. Too funny.

Kris's Sushi Party

Two Saturdays ago I planned a fun little birthday outing for adorable Miss Kris. Everyone met at our place for some pre-drinks, and then walked over to State St. for some sushi at Sapas. Such a fun place! We all ordered different rolls and shared. Kris and always talk about our addiction to the Vegas Roll, and how we need to broaden our horizons. After Sushi we walked across the street to The Bayou. One of our favorite places. We had such a fun time, ate some seriously yummy food, and met some really fun people!

Kris with her Birthday Champagne!

Walking downtown with the Birthday Princess.

Awesome decor at Sapas

I had the Bayou bring her a Birthday Cake. Chocolate, Kaluah Cheesecake!

That's Cole

Happy 25!! It's all downhill from here ;) I'm allowed to say that, because I'm there and I know how it feels.
